ERP is the parent module for all D-Moda Suite and which drives growth and organises your business processes.

      WHAT IS IT?

D-Moda ERP is Emmedata’s vertical management software, specifically designed for the footwear and fashion industry, and able to drive business processes towards continuous improvement. It is the D-Moda Suite base module, and can be fully integrated with all the other system’s modules.

It is designed to adapt to the needs of fashion retail businesses, helping them to process data used in the decision-making process. In fact, the system helps disorganised businesses to better organise their work by adopting practices used by the biggest companies.

ERP is the engine of D-Moda Suite, designed to be used via a technologically advanced web interface. It is Emmedata’s fashion business solution designed for medium to large businesses operating in the footwear, fashion and leather goods sectors.

D-Moda ERP optimises business processes and helps improve management of all production phases by ensuring management and quality control. It increases a business’s security: risks are reduced by minimising data fragmentation and loss by unifying it and transforming it into data which is useful to decision-makers.

D-Moda ERP was created to make complex business processes simple and help with strategic business management via an approach based on the problems faced by the fashion and footwear industry.

Designed to resolve organisational and management problems, it ensures excellent performance thanks to its high level of customisability.

Based on listening to customer requirements, ERP’s functionalities are in constant development. All future software releases are included in the licence fee.

D-Moda ERP‘s strong point is its ability to communicate in real time with all fashion retail management processes, via the following functionality:

      1) SALES

The software allows you to manage your sales budget and automatically create price lists based on profitability parameters.

The ERP system also allows you to define a detailed workflow which covers all phases of the order, from acquisition to approval, from production to shipment validation. The management system also allows you to manage the returns and complaints process.

Supply management in ERP is conducted via Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) which is configured by the planner based on key supply components. This allows you to organise your requirements into production areas and provide suppliers with advance order plans.

The ERP module allows you to coordinate different production centres with relevant monitoring of ordered/out-of-stock materials for each assigned task and define alerts for components used in production.

The management software also contains a stock management program for more efficient shipping document management.

D-Moda ERP also provides effective management of products commissioned from external suppliers, via the ability to integrate information fundamental to the commissioned article into the management system.

D-Moda ERP allows you to drive business management towards the targets established for operational planning, and detect, through the measurement of appropriate indicators, any divergence between the set targets and the results obtained, so you can quickly carry out any corrective actions.

ERP management software can give you an overview of financial flows: it provides information on material quantities and timings as it arrives at your warehouse so you can avoid waste and make logistical and financial savings.

Using the ERP module, your business can manage its various departments and orders, showing costs and revenue.

      7) BILLING

The billing function of the ERP management software directly synchronises the data it manages allowing you to have immediate access to the information you need to issue invoices.

ERP helps your business determine general financial data for accounting purposes, or costs and revenue for better financial control over the business and so you can pay closer attention to the choices your business is making.

The ERP intercompany function gives you the ability to distribute costs and revenue across companies within the same group.

      10) EDI

Using the EDI module, your company can exchange documents electronically with your various commercial partners: orders, shipping documents, invoices, inventories, price lists, etc., using a common language which allows interaction between different information systems and automates integration with ERP.

Using this module which is integrated into the management software, your company can issue periodic invoices for contract fees established in a precise and punctual manner.
